Juan Lobo Tequila Añejo
- - 1.5 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Añejo
- - 6 blackberries
- - 0.5 oz lime juice
- - 3 oz Coca Cola
- - Edible gold flakes (for garnish)

Step 1:
In a tall collins glass, fill ice to the top

Step 2:
Add blackberries and lime juice to the bottom of the glass and muddle

Add your Juan Lobo Tequila Añejo and top with mexican Coca Cola

Step 4:
Sprinkle some edible gold flakes to the top for a little extra sparkle
Daytona’s Story
Not many people may know this, but Jon Wolfe, Owner and Founder of Juan Lobo Tequila, is quite the watch connoisseur. As Jon worked tirelessly to craft the labels across each Juan Lobo Tequila expression, he decided to use his dream watch, a Rolex Daytona, as his aesthetic inspiration to create the look of Juan Lobo Tequila Añejo.
We had to pay homage to the gorgeous wrist candy with this luxurious, dark cocktail adorned with flecks of gold.
Don Javier’s Batanga

Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco
- - A Highball Glass
- - 4 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco (yes, 4 oz)
- - 2 tbsp Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice (or half of one lime)
- - Kosher Salt
- - Mexican Coca-Cola
- - Knife (trust us on this)

Step 1:
Use a lime wedge to coat the rim of the glass and dip the rim in a dash of salt to coat

Step 2:
Squeeze the lime juice into the glass. Add ice to fill the glass to the top

Step 3:
Add a very generous pour of Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco and top off the remainder of the available space with Coca-Cola

The Story of Don Javier's Batanga
A few blocks from the central square in the town of Tequila, Mexico, is La Capilla, a small cantina with a rich history and a steady stream of tequila tourists. This must-see tavern caught Jon’s eye on one of his first visits to Tequila during his search for the flavor that would become Juan Lobo Tequila. Jon was honored to meet the owner of this bar, the legendary Don Javier Delgado. For decades, Don Javier has been serving up his famous creation, the Batanga. He says the secret ingredient is the old knife he uses to stir up the cocktail just before he slides it across the bar to thirsty patrons. Here’s to you, Don Javier!

Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco
- - A Lowball glass
- - 2 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco
- - 1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice (or half of one lime)
- - 1 oz Grand Marnier
- - 0.5 oz Agave Syrup
- - Kosher Salt

Step 1:
Use a lime wedge to coat the rim of the glass and dip the rim in a dash of salt to coat

Step 2:
Add plenty of ice to a cocktail shaker. Squeeze the lime juice into the cocktail shaker

Step 3:
Add Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco, Grand Marnier, and a touch of agave syrup if you like a bit of sweetness to your margarita

Step 4:
Shake it up, pour and garnish with a lime wedge

- - A Collins glass
- - 1.5 oz Meyer Lemons, juiced peel some rind with a vegetable peeler for garnish
- - 0.5 oz lemons, juiced
- - 1.5 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco
- - Topo Chico
- - 1 oz rosemary simple syrup
- ________________________________
- Rosemary Simple Syrup:
- - 2 sprigs rosemary sprigs (about 4" long each)
- - 1 cup sugar
- - 1 cup water

Rosemary Simple Syrup

Step 1:
Place rosemary, sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a strong simmer, reduce heat, and cook for 5-10 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 2:
Once cooled, drain with a sieve into a glass or other heatproof jar and use immediately or cover and place in refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.

Step 1:
Combine Meyer Lemon juice, lemon juice, tequila, and rosemary simple syrup in a shaker with ice.

Step 2:
Shake for 30 seconds and pour evenly into tall glass filled with ice.

Top with club soda and garnish with Meyer Lemon peel & rosemary sprig.

Juan Lobo Tequila Reposado
- - 2 ounces Juan Lobo Tequila Reposado
- - 2 Tablespoons Infused maple (or plain maple syrup)
- - 1 ½ Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- - ½ cup water
- - ¼ cup sliced ginger
- - 3 star anise pods
- - Optional additions: Douglas Fir, crushed cardamom pods, cinnamon, whole clove, peppercorns

Step 1:
Place maple syrup and water in a small pot. Add ginger and whole spices. Heat over medium heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes on low heat. Let stand 10 minutes. The longer you infuse, the more intense the flavor. You could let this sit overnight, or strain it right away.

Step 2:
In a cocktail shaker, pour the Juan Lobo Tequila Reposado, infused maple and lemon juice over ice. Shake and strain into a lowball glass. Garnish with a star anise pod and lemon slice.

- - 1.5 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco
- - 3 oz Coconut cream
- - 4 Basil leaves
- - 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

Step 1:
In a cocktail shaker, mix Juan Lobo Tequila blanco, coconut cream, and lime juice with abundant ice

Step 2:
Take three basil leaves and individually clap them between your hands before placing in the cocktail shaker - shake it up!

Pour into a short rocks glass and garnish with a leaf of basil

- - A Double rocks glass
- - 2 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Anejo
- - 1 oz cold brew coffee (turn it up a notch with coffee liquor to make this wolf howl!)
- - ¼ oz cinnamon schnapps liqueur
- - ¾ oz simple syrup
- - 1 dash chocolate bitters
- - 1 dash orange bitters
- - 1 dash vanilla extract
- - 1 pinch cinnamon

Step 1:
Combine all ingredients except cinnamon in cocktail shaker. Shake.

Step2:
Serve up on a glass rimmed with cinnamon sugar or garnish with a dash of cinnamon.

- - A Double Rocks Glass
- - 1 Sugar Cube
- - Aromatic Bitters
- - 1.5 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Añejo
- - Large ice cube
- - Orange Peel

Step 1:
Rub inside of glass with orange peel, set aside

Step 2:
Add large cube of ice, a sugar cube, 2 dashes of aromatic bitters, and 1.5 oz of Juan Lobo Tequila Añejo to glass

Step 3:
Stir under sugar has dissolved - about 1-2 minutes

Step 4:
Twist an orange peel into the cocktail and enjoy.
The Story behind Sergio's Old Fashioned
Traditionally, you’ll see a high-grade bourbon or rye used to create an Old Fashioned. We wanted to honor our master distiller, Sergio Vivanco, with a classic cocktail created with our Juan Lobo Tequila Añejo. One sip of this version, and you’ll be a lifetime Añejo convert!
The Sissy

- - A classic martini glass
- - 1.5 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco
- - 1 Cup water
- - 1 Cup granulated sugar
- - 10 sprigs fresh thyme
- - 1 tsp rose water
- - Edible rose petals
- - Thyme sprigs
- - Sparkling water such as Perrier

Step 1
Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat

Step 2
Add the sugar and stir until the sugar has dissolved

Step 3
Remove from the heat, add the thyme, and let it infuse in the syrup for 15 minutes

Step 4
Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer set over a small bowl and discard the thyme sprigs

Step 5
Chill the syrup

Fill cocktail glass with ice

Step 2:
Pour 1 tablespoon of rose water and 1 tablespoon of thyme-infused syrup into the glass

Add 1.5 oz of Juan Lobo Tequila Blanco and top with sparkling water

The Story of the Sissy
Once you have had a wonderful dog, a life without one, is a life diminished. Sissy was just that – a wonderful dog and best friend to Jon Wolfe for over 12 years. Though a dog’s life is never long enough, we thought she would love this soft, feminine drink with a bit of a bite. We could think of no better way to memorialize the memory of Sissy.

Place ample ice into glass

- - 1.5 oz Juan Lobo Tequila Reposado
- - 1 small seedless watermelon, or half of a larger watermelon (Need 2 oz per cocktail)
- - Tajin Salt
- - ¾ oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- - ½ oz freshly squeezed orange juice
- - Agave nectar
- - Jalapeno

Step 1:
To make the watermelon juice, scoop the watermelon flesh into your blender and blend until it has turned into a smooth juice.

Step 2:
Rim your glass with lime, then tajin salt

Step 3:
In a cocktail shaker, pour the watermelon juice, Juan Lobo Tequila Reposado, juice from half a lime, juice from ¼ of an orange, a dash of agave nectar, and two jalapeno slices - Shake it!

Step 4:
Pour into your glass and garnish with a watermelon slice.

- - 1.5 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
- - Sparkling water
- - Kosher salt
- - 0.5 Lime
- - Agave Syrup

Step 1:
In a shaker, place Juan Lobo Tequila Reposado, the juice from half a lime, a dash of agave syrup, and the ruby red grapefruit juice.

Shake until mixed

Step 3:
Dip half of the rim in lime juice, then kosher salt

Step 4:
Fill the glass with ice and pour cocktail shaker mixture into glass
